Office Services Team Leader (Digital Post Team)

📍 Bolton | Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day home)
🕘 Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (35 hours per week)

Are you an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor who enjoys bringing out the best in people while ensuring a high-quality service is delivered every day?

We're looking for an Office Services Team Leader to lead our Digital Post Team, overseeing the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing mail and documents across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people management skills who enjoys coaching, motivating and developing a team while maintaining service standards and operational performance.

The Role

As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Digital Post Team, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and in line with service level agreements. You'll work closely with the Business Support Manager to support team performance, resource planning and employee engagement, helping to create a positive and collaborative team environment.

Using innovative technology and digital processes, you'll play a key role in ensuring documents are processed securely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with GDPR and internal policies.

  • Leading, coaching and supporting the Digital Post Team to achieve departmental objectives and service standards.
  • Monitoring workloads and resources to ensure KPI and SLA targets are met.
  • Supporting performance management, development reviews and ongoing training within the team.
  • Creating training materials and delivering training to new and existing colleagues.
  • Promoting a positive team culture through engagement initiatives and employee recognition activities.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business to deliver an excellent internal service.
  • Ensuring all processes are carried out in line with GDPR, compliance requirements and company policies.
  • Supporting the Business Support Manager with absence management, retention objectives and wider team development initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar people management role.
  • Experience managing team performance, workloads and capacity
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • A positive, resilient attitude and a genuine passion for supporting and developing others.
