DRW Office Space Planner

We are looking for an experienced Office Space Planner to join our Workplace team in London!
What you’ll do:
- Provide short-term and long-term space planning for the DRW London & Amsterdam offices
- Develop move plans with space assignments, sequencing of group-level relocations and occupancy plans
- Coordinate complex move projects involving high occupant numbers achieving optimal density of space
- Conduct space and occupancy audits to maintain accurate reporting information of seating charts, employee locations, space designations, and usage of space
- Develop and maintain site-stacking plans
- Support Workplace Team and vendors with onsite floorplans needed for moves and occupancy planning.
- Collaborate with Workplace, ITS and Project Management teams on active projects.
- Weekly assign seats to new hires, transfer employees and visitors, update floorplans Support Talent on the onboarding process assigning desks as required,
- Review and validate weekly and monthly space and occupancy reporting
- Forecast data for space and occupancy planning
- Add or remove Hotel desks to the floorplan and liaise with ITS for any work related
- Maintain and administrate our desk booking system
- Deal with space requests for inter-office visitors or groups
- Oversee the work of vendors supporting desk space moves including booking of permits
- Coordinate across multiple teams to achieve results
- Communicate project details and changes to stakeholders
- Interact with key senior leaders, business partners, and vendor
- Prepare presentations for the leadership
- Raise tickets for desks moves and other IT related changes required
- Support and collaborate with other teams on the development or enhancement of our Space Planning tools
- Check on equipment stock for desks moves, such as monitors, cables and docking stations
- Raise permits for contractors and request quotes and POs

Qualifications:

- Previous experience (2+ years) working as a space planner: space planning, workplace strategy, moves & changes, or facilities planning for corporate environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management, change management, project coordination, problem solving, attention to detail, ability to balance aesthetics and operational requirements.
- Strong technical skills including space management systems, Microsoft Excel, and other tools
- Expertise concerning building codes, occupancy standards, ergonomics, workplace utilization metrics, and safety requirements
- Ability to work nights or weekends as required by planned office moves or space planning events
