Job Title: Office Team Lead (Full-Time)

Location: 3 Myrtle Road, London, E6 1HU (On-site)
Company: HF Shutters
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Role Description

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, and experienced Office Team Lead to join our team on a full-time basis, working 5 days a week. In this on-site role based in London, you will take charge of daily operational tasks, oversee office workflows, and ensure a seamless day-to-day operation.

As a key part of our growing team, you will "wear many hats"organising tasks, leading and motivating staff across various areas, utilising strong computer systems to boost efficiency, and driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations & Administration: Take charge of daily operational tasks, organise and assign office tasks to all team members (including yourself), coordinate administrative workflows, and maintain structured records.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate staff across various areas, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and foster a collaborative, results-driven work environment.
  • Process Improvement: Manage, enhance, and streamline office processes, systems, and digital workflows to boost overall productivity.
  • Customer Service & Support: Support customer service inquiries, ensuring clear, professional communication and accurate processing of orders.
  • Financial & Record Tasks: Handle basic accounting responsibilities, including invoices, payments, and financial tracking associated with office operations and orders.

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in a leading, supervisory, or coordinating role (experience in a similar industry is a plus, but not essential).
  • Leadership & Problem-Solving: Proven ability to adapt, take initiative, exercise strong problem-solving skills, and motivate a team.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills and proficiency with common office software/systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic accounting skills for managing invoices, payments, and operational financial records.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong time-management skills, high attention to detail, and reliable follow-through.
