About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established company based in Wombourne who are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Office Trainee to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their first step into an office environment, with the potential to develop into a more specialised Finance / Purchase Ledger role as they gain experience.

Initially, the role will involve a range of general office and administrative duties, including scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records. As your knowledge and confidence grow, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and develop your skills within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scanning and uploading documents
  • Filing and maintaining organised records
  • General office administration and support
  • Data entry and updating internal systems
  • Processing and organising paperwork
  • Assisting the wider office team with day-to-day tasks
  • Supporting with finance-related administration as you develop
  • Potential to progress into Purchase Ledger / Finance responsibilities

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, organised, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • IT literate with good attention to detail
  • Keen to develop a career within an office or finance environment
  • Positive and hardworking
  • Able to follow processes and complete tasks accurately
  • A good communicator who is happy to ask questions and learn from others

Previous office or finance experience is not essential as full training will be provided. This role would suit someone looking to start their career in an office environment and build their experience over time.
