About the Role
SilverOak Solicitors is seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE to join our growing practice in West London. The role involves managing a varied caseload of claimant EL, PL and RTA matters, including Fast Track and Multi Track claims, from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in personal injury litigation who is confident managing their own caseload, providing clear advice and progressing claims proactively. Office-based, hybrid or remote working arrangements are available, depending on experience and agreed during the recruitment process.
The Role
You will independently manage EL, PL and RTA claims, including Fast Track and Multi Track matters, from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop your leadership skills by supervising paralegals, providing practical guidance and supporting their professional development. Depending on your skills and experience, there may also be scope to take responsibility for running a department, offering a clear route for career progression within the firm.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
