Offline CNC Miller Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Shift: Days - Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-2:00pm

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced 3 & 5 Axis Offline CNC Miller Programmer to join a reputable automotive engineering business. Working alongside a skilled team of CNC machinists, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating modern CNC milling machinery, producing bespoke and small-batch precision components across a variety of materials.

Offline CNC Miller Programmer Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines
- Online programming using Hurco WinMax and Fanuc control systems
- Offline programming using SolidCAM software
- Manufacture bespoke and low-volume precision components
- Produce tooling, fixtures and jigs where required
- Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks to ensure components meet specification
Offline CNC Miller Programmer Experience:
- Previous experience programming, setting and operating 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines
- Strong online programming experience using Hurco WinMax and/or Fanuc controls
- Proven offline programming experience using SolidCAM
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
- Excellent understanding of machining processes, materials and tight tolerances
- Time-served CNC machining apprenticeship or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience mentoring or training apprentices (Desirable)
