Job Title: Offshore 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
Sector: Offshore Wind
Location: Offshore, mobilising from Northeast England
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (with potential scope for 3 weeks depending on project/personnel requirements)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: 12-Month Initial Contract (Inside IR35, via Umbrella), likely extension
Day Rate: £950 per day
Clearance Required: BPSS (DBS/DS, financial probity, employment history checks), medical questionnaire, and proof of right to work in the UK
About the Role
We're working with a major offshore wind developer, seeking an Offshore 66kV Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to provide safety from the system under the project's Electrical Safety Rules, carrying out isolations, earthing and safety documentation across a large-scale offshore wind farm.

Responsibilities
- Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, and promoting a positive health and safety culture
- Carry out SAP duties as required, reporting to the Lead SAP
- Produce and review switching schedules
- Provide isolations and safety documentation for the project
- Work under High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules)
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
- Provide personal supervision where required
- Conduct and review point-of-work risk assessments
- Support the wider commissioning process, upholding the project's safety and quality standards, with scope to develop personal competencies under Wind Turbine Switching Rules (WTSR) and commissioning walkdowns

Requirements
- Full GWO certification: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights
- Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step test
- Offshore HUET
- Knowledge of Wind Turbine Switching Rules (WTSR)
- Knowledge of Model Distribution Safety Rules
- Experience with WTGs, Transition Pieces (TPs), Inter-Array Cables (IACs) and Offshore Substation Platforms (OSP/OSS)
- ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66kV or above
- 33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience will also be considered
