About the Company
Our client, a leading provider of offshore wind services, is currently looking for experienced Blade Technicians (IRATA Level 3) to support offshore wind projects across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity to join high-profile offshore campaigns, working on turbine blade inspection, maintenance and repair activities while benefiting from excellent rates and rotational schedules.
About the Role
This role involves supporting offshore wind projects by performing various tasks related to blade inspection, maintenance, and repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform offshore blade inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Conduct rope access operations in accordance with IRATA requirements.
- Carry out composite, structural, and leading-edge repairs.
- Complete repair documentation and inspection reports.
- Adhere to offshore safety standards and client procedures.
- Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
- Support mobilisation and demobilisation activities.

Qualifications
- Valid IRATA Level 3 certification.
- Proven offshore blade technician experience.
- Valid Offshore GWO Basic Safety Training (BST).
- Valid GWO Sea Survival certification.
- Working at Heights certification with a minimum of 12 months validity remaining.
- Valid offshore medical certificate.
Required Skills
- Experience carrying out:
- Composite repairs
- Structural blade repairs
- Leading-edge repairs
- Blade inspections
- Surface finishing and restoration
- Strong safety awareness and experience working offshore.
Preferred Skills
- Vestas training.
- Experience on Vestas V164 turbines.
- Experience with Siemens Gamesa, GE, Nordex, or other OEM offshore platforms.
- Composite repair qualifications.
- Previous offshore campaign experience.

Pay range and compensation package
- €35-43 per hour
- 12-hour working days
- 2/2 rotation
- Travel days covered either side of rotation
- Standby rate available
- Guaranteed 10 or 12 hours depending on standby notice period
- Opportunity to work on major European offshore wind projects
