Brunel are seeking an experienced Commissioning Supervisor (Electrical)
Brunel are seeking an experienced Commissioning Supervisor (Electrical) to support a major Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) project comprising new onshore oil & gas production facilities, multiple pipeline installations, upgrades to existing terminals and offshore platforms, and the delivery of a new-build offshore platform including Jacket and Topside facilities.
Contract Details
- 12-month contract with potential extension
- 28/28 rotational schedule
- Offshore assignment, North Wales
- All-inclusive day rate (no additional expenses)
- Inside IR35
- Mobilisation expected before the end of 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise commissioning and energisation activities for electrical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate testing of switchgear, transformers, motors, UPS systems, generators and power distribution networks.
- Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely and in line with project procedures.
- Manage contractor personnel and support vendor commissioning activities.
- Review commissioning records and support system handover to operations.
- Coordinate electrical interfaces with instrumentation, mechanical and operations teams.
- Participate in start-up and performance testing activities.

Requirements
- Significant electrical commissioning experience within offshore oil & gas, power, energy or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
- Experience supervising offshore commissioning teams.
- Familiarity with electrical safety rules, isolation procedures and energisation activities.
- Proven ability to work within multi-discipline commissioning environments.
- Valid BOSIET
