ROLE
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and verifying the technical, operational and safety competence of offshore personnel, supporting the ongoing delivery and improvement of the organisation’s Competence Assurance System.
Responsibilities
- Conducting structured competency assessments for offshore personnel
- Evaluating technical knowledge, practical skills and operational performance against defined standards
- Identifying competency gaps and supporting development plans
- Providing constructive feedback, coaching and guidance
- Working closely with training teams, operational managers and supervisors
- Maintaining accurate competency records and assessment documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement of the Competence Assurance System
- Ensuring alignment with relevant industry standards and requirements, including OPITO, IADC and HSE

- Recognised Workplace Assessor qualification
- Previous offshore competency assessment experience
- Valid BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS
- Valid OEUK Medical
- Valid MIST
