On behalf of our client, Northern Marine Manning Services, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Night Cook Baker to join our client's Jack-up Installation on Sunday 16th August.
Rotation: 4/4 weeks on/off.
Please note applicants must be a UK National or hold a UK Right to Work Permit.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To provide quality catering and food services for a diverse multicultural staff.
- To provide 24-hour food catering on board the vessel in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner.
- To ensure that high hygiene standards are always maintained for all food handling and preparation.
- To assist in ordering of provisions with sufficient notice to allow for continuous replenishment of catering and accommodation supplies.
- To ensure that a good standard of housekeeping is kept within the galley to provide a safe living environment.
- To provide training to other galley personnel in food preparation with an underline of safety and hygienic industrial practice.
- To report to Chief Steward of any malfunctioning, defect, or broken equipment as soon as known.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of sea service and working as a cook for at least 3 years, preferably trained as a professional cook.
- Certificate requirements
- Passport (minimum 6-month validity)
- Seafarers Discharge Book
- Ships Cook CoC (preferred)
- STCW Designated Security Duties
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Food Hygiene = Food Safety
- GWO Boat Transfer = GWO Sea Survival
- GWO Working at Height
- OPITO BOSIET (with CA-EBS) = OPITO FOET or HUET with CA-EBS
- ILO Medical = ENG1 Medical
