About Aventa

Aventa is a specialist recruitment consultancy dedicated to the offshore energy, oil and gas, and renewables sectors, placing technical and offshore professionals with clients across Europe and beyond. We connect skilled professionals with projects across the energy transition, supporting clients worldwide with the technical and offshore talent they need for their most demanding campaigns - from offshore wind construction to oil and gas operations and marine works. Aventa is growing, and this role is part of that growth, offering the chance to build a career and a personal client and candidate network from an early stage, with visibility on how the business grows and support from experienced colleagues along the way.

Role overview

Support Aventa's growth by sourcing, qualifying and placing offshore candidates, building long-term relationships with both candidates and clients, and managing vacancies from first brief to successful placement. You work across the full recruitment cycle, from understanding a client's technical and commercial needs to closing offers and coordinating mobilisation to site.

  • Reporting line: to the Recruitment Manager, working closely with the wider Aventa recruitment team and sector specialists across offshore energy, oil and gas, marine and renewables.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
