Job Opportunity: Offshore ROV Tooling Technician
Our client, a leading provider in the renewables sector, is seeking an experienced Offshore ROV Tooling Technician to support the delivery of subsea ROV Tooling projects worldwide. Working with a range of hydraulic, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic tooling systems, you will play a key role in equipment mobilisation, commissioning, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and offshore operations, ensuring equipment performs safely and reliably in demanding offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting offshore ROV tooling operations and subsea intervention projects from mobilisation through to demobilisation.
- Commissioning, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of ROV tooling equipment offshore and on client sites.
- Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic equipment faults to minimise downtime.
- Providing technical support and expertise to offshore personnel, clients, and project teams.
- Preparing tooling packages and ensuring all equipment is fully operational and deployment-ready.
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of tooling systems, operational processes, and service delivery.
- Mentoring and supporting developing ROV Tooling Technicians through hands-on guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation while ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and industry standards.

Job Requirements:
- Qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience supporting the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of ROV tooling equipment.
- Strong knowledge of ROV tooling systems, including torque tools, valve packs, cutters, LAOTs, and IHPUs.
- Sound understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, including fault diagnosis and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform effectively in demanding offshore environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients, offshore crews, and project teams.
- Experience with electrical systems and fault-finding would be advantageous.
