How to Contribute to Our Vision
As an Offshore Service Technician, you will be responsible for the comprehensive service, maintenance, and repair of Siemens Gamesa Direct Drive Wind Turbines in an offshore environment. This role involves transferring to the windfarm via CTV. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the high availability and optimal performance of one of the world's largest offshore wind farms. Your primary duties will include performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, and executing component repairs. A significant aspect of this position is the unwavering commitment to safety. You will be an active safety leader, ensuring strict compliance with all company and legislative EHS standards, correctly reporting incidents, and working safely at heights and in confined spaces as part of a dedicated technical team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, preferably with experience in the wind industry or a transferable background in electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic maintenance from industrial, military, or automotive sectors. You must be a motivated, independent problem-solver who is physically and mentally prepared for the demands of offshore work. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a technical education being highly advantageous.
