The Vestas Offshore Supply Chain Department is responsible for the logistic and warehouse operations on board of the Service Operations Vessels and Jack-Up Vessels. We are supporting the Vestas Offshore Special Projects and Service Departments which installs, services and maintains the wind turbines in multiple windfarms across the European seas. With an open and informal culture, the department relies on teamwork and effective communication to reach its goals. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and in a team of highly motivated employees. You will act as appointed person for calibration on site.
Responsibilities
- Travel nationally and internationally to support offshore wind service operations across SOVs, harbours, and warehouse locations
- Manage daily warehouse activities, ensuring materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts are available to meet operational requirements
- Ongoing communication and coordination with the Service organization and the teams around the supply with necessary tools, spare parts and equipment
- Maintenance of stocks in the SAP ERP system and ensuring material postings as well as conducting inventories
- Management of PPE, hoists, testing tools and other devices which require periodic testing or calibrations
- Request offers for local purchases and request creation of purchase orders
- Proper disposal and waste handling on the vessel and offloading in port and coordinating ad-hoc spare parts deliveries to the Wind farm
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management, with renewable energy or offshore industry experience
- Knowledge of customs, import/export procedures, and shipping processes
- Solid inventory management capabilities, maintaining high levels of stock accuracy and effective stock control
- Understanding of forecasting, safety stock management, and broader supply chain processes to support business continuity
- Computer knowledge: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, TMS, ERP system (SAP/AX)
- Good written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Full driving and forklift license

Additional information
Your work location will be in UK, Belgium or The Netherlands. Please note that this role will include travelling within and outside UK on a 2 week on 2 week off working pattern.
