Scope of Work:

At Kent, we are constantly growing and evolving, and we're always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team. We are seeking engineers with offshore wind experience to support the delivery of consultancy and design projects, particularly across WTG foundations and offshore substations. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical capability and the ability to contribute to project delivery with increasing autonomy.

Key Requirements:

  • Perform roles as Originator and/or Checker, delivering analysis and design tasks with limited supervision
  • Develop and execute structural analysis and design calculations, including interpretation of results
  • Produce high-quality technical reports, models, and calculations, compliant with codes and internal procedures
  • Support resolution of technical challenges, escalating appropriately to senior staff where required
  • Contribute to delivery of work to agreed schedule, budget, and quality requirements
  • Present technical work internally and to clients as required
  • Support knowledge sharing and peer development within the team
  • Experience of working for engineering/client organisations in the offshore wind industry
  • Experience of FEED and detailed design projects for offshore fixed bottom foundations
  • Capability in one or more key disciplines – engineering management, primary steel design, secondary structures design, grouted connections, geotech, and ground modelling
  • Experience with common offshore wind design software, particularly SESAM, Bladed, Abaqus
  • Understanding of offshore design codes and engineering workflows
  • Ability to independently deliver defined scopes of work and manage priorities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Awareness of health, safety, and quality standards
