T&I Lead | Offshore Wind
A leading renewable energy organisation is seeking an experienced Transport & Installation (T&I) Lead to support the delivery of major offshore wind developments.
This is a high-impact position responsible for leading the transport and installation strategy for offshore structures and subsea cable systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical, commercial, and operational requirements.
The Role
You will take ownership of T&I activities across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage planning and engineering through to offshore execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing transport and installation strategies for offshore wind projects
- Defining installation methodologies for foundations, offshore substations, and subsea cable systems
- Managing marine logistics, installation sequencing, and campaign planning
- Overseeing lift studies, heavy lift methodologies, sea fastening, cable installation engineering, and constructability reviews
- Supporting vessel selection, port operations, load-out activities, and offshore campaign execution
- Acting as the key interface with contractors, marine warranty surveyors, certification bodies, and installation partners
- Leading technical evaluations during procurement and contract award processes
- Driving a strong HSE culture through risk management, constructability assessments, and industry best practice

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in offshore wind transport and installation activities
- Strong understanding of foundation, substation, and subsea cable installation methodologies
- Experience managing marine operations and offshore execution campaigns
- Knowledge of heavy lift operations, vessel selection, and marine logistics
- Familiarity with relevant offshore standards and regulations
- Proven ability to manage contractors and complex stakeholder interfaces
