About The Role
The Ofsted Registered Manager in Hither Green will lead the launch of a new Children’s Residential Home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. This permanent role offers a salary of £65,000 to £70,000 per year plus bonus, with standard Monday to Friday hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm. You will shape the home’s culture, recruit your own team, and create a nurturing environment to help young people thrive. Key skills include strong leadership, knowledge of Ofsted regulations, and experience managing EBD settings. This position is ideal for a manager ready to build a service from the ground up and secure outstanding outcomes.

What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home.
- Lead the successful opening and day-to-day management of the service.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing care team.
- Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Create a therapeutic, child-centred environment that promotes positive outcomes.
- Develop strong relationships with local authorities, professionals, families and external agencies.
- Monitor quality, compliance and safeguarding to achieve outstanding standards.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Home.
- A proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete if required).
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation and children's residential care regulations.
- The passion and resilience to lead a new service from registration through to full occupancy.
