Children’s Registered Manager
A growing children’s residential provider in the Birmingham/Walsall region is seeking an experienced, values‑driven Registered Manager to lead one of their homes supporting young people with EBD/SEMH needs.
This role is ideal for a leader who believes in trauma‑informed practice, therapeutic care, and creating emotionally safe environments where children can feel secure, understood and able to grow.
About the Role
You will lead a children’s home shaped around:
- Safety and emotional stability: Predictable routines, nurturing relationships and consistent boundaries.
- Whole-person support: Focusing on mental health, learning needs, relationships, independence and wellbeing.
- Connected teamwork: Staff, families and professionals working collaboratively from shared goals.
- Future-focused progression: Supporting young people through each stage of their journey with care and clarity.

You will oversee Ofsted compliance, safeguarding excellence, staff development, reflective practice and the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Registered Manager OR a Deputy ready to step up
- Strong understanding of trauma, attachment and therapeutic approaches
- A calm, confident leadership style that builds stable, emotionally safe environments
- Clear knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children’s residential standards
- Ability to inspire, support and develop a skilled, compassionate team
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards)
