OHL Administrator - Overhead Lines
We're looking for highly organised and proactive Administrators to join our Overhead Line Teams. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and business support, managing databases, spreadsheets, and information systems to ensure data is accurate, organised, maintained, and readily accessible. You'll produce management reports, KPI dashboards, and business performance information to support effective decision-making, while maintaining the national Overhead Line organisational report, contact lists, and associated business records.
These positions form part of a national OHL support network, serving operational and non-operational teams. Whilst each Administrator will be aligned to a specific geographical region (North, East or West), they will work closely with colleagues across the wider national OHL organisation to deliver consistent support, share best practice and provide resilience across the business. To enable effective engagement with all teams operational teams and stakeholders, successful candidates will be required to be based within the operational geographical area they support.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays to attend events & meetings.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to designated Overhead Line teams, coordinating meetings, managing actions, and maintaining information across Microsoft and business systems.
- Manage and coordinate complex travel and accommodation logistics for large operational teams working away from home, ensuring seamless, cost-effective arrangements that support the successful delivery of business-critical operations.
- Arrange and support meetings, working groups, and forums, including preparing agendas, recording minutes, and tracking actions through to completion.
- Manage complex diaries and schedules, coordinating senior leadership meetings, team meetings, one-to-ones, and wider communication events such as OHL All Hands sessions.
- Coordinate and distribute monthly team briefings, communications, and business updates, helping to keep teams informed and aligned.
- Organise executive and senior leadership site visits, ensuring all logistics, travel arrangements, and supporting documentation are effectively managed.
- Plan and coordinate national and local Overhead Line events, working with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver successful and engaging events.
- Maintain and manage business information, records, and reporting structures to support investment delivery and governance activities.

What You’ll Have
- Strong IT skills with proven experience using Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively, and use initiative to solve problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- The ability to produce, present, and communicate information in a professional, accurate, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a consistently high standard.
- A collaborative team player who is resourceful, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.

- A competitive salary of £33,323.
