OHL (Overhead Line) Mobile Plant Fitter
Overview:
Maintain, inspect and repair Overhead Line Equipment assets across our Energy Business Projects and support in the delivery of such projects. During Outage and construction periods this position will be site based across the UK. During off season periods you will be based at the Magnor Plant / Morgan Sindall Plant depot, Swynnerton.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that work is delivered in full compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental legislation as well as compliant with Morgan Sindall and customer procedures
- Maintain, service and inspect Morgan Sindall’s plant and equipment based at Swynnerton and at various site locations
- Carry out Quality Inspections and required legislative compliance checks on OHL assets in a timely manner. Support LOLER inspections and ensure all equipment remains Compliant.
- Support Site Based delivery during outage projects and undertake onsite breakdowns, repairs and PPM requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date.
- Undertake additional duties and training as required both at depot and site locations.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience working on specialist OHL plant and equipment.
- Will have expert knowledge on all types of plant and equipment
- Will have experience working with operational teams
- Experience in working a site-based construction or infrastructure environment.
- Demonstrate strong Health and safety awareness and environmental requirements.
- Full UK driving license
- NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or equivalent City and Guilds mechanical/maintenance certification
