Responsibilities
- Design, configure and maintain Okta SSO for cloud and on-premise applications using SAML 2.0, OIDC and SWA integrations
- Implement and tune Multi-Factor Authentication policies, including factor enrolment, adaptive/risk-based policies and phishing-resistant factors (FIDO2/WebAuthn, Okta Verify)
- Configure and support Self-Service Password Reset flows, including recovery policies and helpdesk escalation paths
- Build and maintain user lifecycle management and provisioning — inbound HR-driven joiner/mover/leaver flows, outbound SCIM provisioning to downstream applications, and Active Directory / LDAP integration via Okta agents
- Manage Universal Directory: profile mappings, attribute transformations (Okta Expression Language), group rules and group push
- Define and enforce authentication and authorisation policies, sign-on rules, network zones and device trust conditions

Required experience
- 10+ years in Identity and Access Management, with at least 5 years hands-on as an Okta administrator or engineer in an enterprise environment
- Deep, demonstrable expertise across Okta SSO, MFA, SSPR and lifecycle provisioning
- Strong working knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM and LDAP
- Experience integrating Okta with Active Directory, HR systems (Workday, SuccessFactors or similar) and SaaS application estates at scale
- Proven experience migrating applications from legacy IdPs (ADFS, Ping, SiteMinder) to Okta

Desirable
- Privileged Access Management experience — CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, or Okta Privileged Access
- Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) experience — identity risk discovery, entitlement hygiene, detection of shadow or orphaned accounts
- Okta Certified Professional / Administrator / Consultant certification
- Experience with Okta Identity Governance (OIG) or a separate IGA platform (SailPoint, Saviynt)
- Zero Trust architecture exposure, device trust, and conditional access design
