To start as soon as possible, full time, permanent

The role will define, manage, and continuously improve the process for developing and delivering the operations concepts for future global offshore wind farms. These processes will provide guidance for all O&M activities between early-development up to FID, and FID to COD including handover to the site.

About the role

  • Development and implementation of a process landscape for all O&M activities between early-development and handover of the site to Regional Operations
  • Support developing a standard project management approach (including IT tools) for all activities within the subject area and support project teams in using the standard project management within their projects
  • Be a subject matter specialist for specific topics (technical, local requirements) of O&M development and implementation tasks and ensure an efficient integration in new offshore wind projects
  • Assistance in the preparation of O&M documents and align those with other stakeholders in the business and maintaining a database of O&M documents required until handover
  • Facilitation of workshops to identify best practice processes and procedures
  • Alignment with other teams within the wider business (including other OpCos)
  • Support the Concept and Implementation Managers and their teams during the set-up of the individual project and act as SPOC for regular updates
  • Educate and upskill internal colleagues in relation to O&M processes that are utilised during project development up to point of Commercial Operations Date

Job requirements and experience

  • Completed technical education with a civil, mechanical, or project management focus, alternatively a university degree in any relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
  • A background in any other asset operations within a utility, project management of large infrastructure projects, or similar is beneficial
  • Open and team-oriented with the ability to work across multiple projects and regions
  • High level of integrity, consistent performance, and a proactive, structured way of working
  • Interest in operational workflows and processes and in technical functionality
  • Willingness to travel within RWE Offshore Wind
  • Business fluent use of English in spoken and written form
