Job Description
We are seeking a skilled EC&I Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of our Westfield Energy From Waste (EfW) plant.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will install, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and control systems that support critical plant processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, calibrate and repair instrumentation, analysers and control systems.
- Maintain plant equipment including motors, generators, turbine controls and auxiliaries.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems and associated circuits.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Plan and carry out maintenance work using schematics, drawings and OEM manuals.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship in Electrical or Instrumentation.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar safety qualification.
- HNC/HND in Engineering desirable.
- Technical training in instrumentation, automation or control systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Experience
- Solid experience as an EC&I / instrumentation technician.
- Experience in industrial, power generation or process environments.
- Strong knowledge of transmitters, valves, analysers and calibration.
- Experience working with PLC and DCS systems.
- Good understanding of safe plant operations and HSE requirements.
