Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide. We have a great opportunity for a O&M Project Manager to our Energy Solutions business.
Equans Energy Solutions is a market leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor focussed on the energy transition. We design, install, commission and operate large scale solar PV farms and BESS projects for our clients. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants that enables local communities to reduce costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
Key activities
- To manage the implementation of all preventive, corrective and condition based maintenance activities across an estate of solar farms for different clients across the UK.
- To manage the relevant subcontractors in relation to the day to day operations on the sites to ensure compliance with scope requirements, H&S best practices, operations based practices and all relevant statutory requirements in relation to the environment.
- To review and verify relevant subcontractor reports for conformance to standards and specifications and to evaluate the data for anomalies, outliers and inconsistencies; to plan relevant investigation and rectification works.
- To draft, issue and present monthly performance reports to the relevant clients for each site.
- To manage any defects or warranty claims from the clients, and to manage any relevant punch lists or defects lists effectively and efficiently, so that all pertinent items are closed and evidenced appropriately and successfully.
- To interface with our internal commissioning team in order to ensure a smooth handover of each solar farm (or other energy project) from commissioning into O&M, and to ensure the readiness of each related step of this process.
- To manage the implementation of relevant advanced data analytics tools as part of O&M, as well as related revamping and repowering projects for ageing solar farms and other energy projects.
- To keep up to date with the latest applicable Standards.
- To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, HNC or Degree)
- Experience in the management of solar farms in operation and maintenance
- 18th edition BS 7671
- SMSTS
- First aid at work
- ECS electrical site manager and electrical safety management
- IOSH Managing safely
- Driving license and ability to travel to sites.
- Computer literacy
