About Us

Future Finance is an independent research platform covering the convergence of AI, biotech, energy, robotics and blockchain. We publish daily research, a newsletter read by 45,000 investors, and video built for people thinking in cycles rather than days.

Our readers are serious private investors, most of them 45 and older, managing their own capital. They came to us because everything else in their feed is reactive noise.

We are hiring the face of our video coverage. You will front our recurring market and technology coverage on YouTube and social, turning our research into video that people trust and finish.

What You Will Do

  • Front our recurring news and analysis videos - from short daily-format pieces through to segments inside long-form episodes
  • Take a researched script and deliver it with authority, clarity, and pace, on a tight turnaround
  • Contribute to scripts: sharpen the language, flag what does not hold up, improve the hook
  • Work closely with our research and production team, and take direction on packaging, delivery, and retention
  • Represent Future Finance on camera in interviews, panels, and partner content over time
  • Hold the editorial line: no hype, no predictions dressed as certainty, no promises about returns

The load, so you can judge it honestly: three to four news pieces per week, plus segments inside one long-form episode. Roughly two shoot days and three prep days in a normal week.

What We Are Looking For

Non-negotiable

  • Proven on-camera presence. You are watchable, credible, and natural. You can work from a script or a prompter and still sound like a person thinking rather than a person reading - and you can hold your own with the script taken away.
  • Genuine financial literacy. You can read a macro or technology story, understand it, and answer an unscripted question about it without falling apart.
  • Speed. Script to publish-ready delivery inside 24 hours, repeatedly.
  • Coachability. You will get direct notes on your delivery every week, and you will act on them.
  • A clean, disclosed public record. No paid promotion of tokens, projects, or financial products in the last five years, and no past content making income or return claims. If there is something in your history, tell us in your application - we can work with disclosed history, not with surprises.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Strong signal

  • Broadcast, financial journalism, or investor relations background
  • Experience anchoring a recurring show or segment rather than one-off appearances
  • A body of work we can watch, ideally where you were the sole presenter
  • Comfort with the technology side of the thesis, not only with markets
  • Any credible on-camera background - news, current affairs, sport - paired with real curiosity about markets. We would rather teach the subject to a great presenter than teach presenting to a great analyst.

Not a fit

  • Anyone who needs the role branded around their own name
  • Anyone whose primary interest is growing their own following
  • Anyone who wants to keep monetising a finance audience alongside this role, or who is unwilling to give up paid financial promotion for the duration
  • Anyone who needs a producer to make every decision for them
  • Anyone who cannot be interrogated on a story they have just presented

What We Offer

  • Compensation. Competitive and market-related, depending on location.
  • Paid trial. One paid week before any offer: three scripts in five days at a pro-rated day rate. You are paid whether or not we proceed.
  • Exclusivity within finance and investing media for the duration of the engagement. Commentary outside finance and investing is yours.
  • Six-month initial term, reviewed against the written scorecard shared with you on day one - then a permanent offer or a clean exit.
  • Location. Dubai preferred; we sponsor the visa and cover relocation. Remote is genuinely open for the right person, with roughly one week in Dubai per quarter.

Process

  1. Application review - we reply to everyone who submits a complete application
  2. Thirty-minute call with the People and Culture Manager
  3. Thirty-minute call with Strategic CEO and Co-Founder
  4. Live screen test, including ten unscripted minutes on a story you have just delivered, and a direct note mid-test to see what you do with it
  5. Paid trial week - three scripts in five days
  6. Two references, then decision

Roughly three weeks end-to-end.

How to Apply

Upload links in application:

  • Two links to you presenting on camera. Unedited or lightly edited is more useful to us than a showreel.
  • A 90-second video of you delivering this news item, to camera, in your own words. A phone camera is fine - we are assessing delivery and judgement, not production value.
  • Three lines on why this role, and not a bigger audience somewhere else.
