Your new company

My client, one of the region's largest logistics companies, is seeking a confident and proficient on-site administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Based in Birkenhead and working on a very busy site, you will be joining a large and supportive organisation who pride themselves on service and quality coupled with speed and efficiency.

Please note you need to drive in order to get to the location

Your new role

The position is offered full time, Monday to Friday.

Working hours of 07.00am until 16.00pm

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to a large entry system, ensuring operational paperwork, customer documentation, finance records and system updates are processed accurately and in line with company procedures. The role supports daily operations by maintaining accurate paper and electronic filing systems, assisting with stock and finance administration, and ensuring information is available to support operational efficiency, customer service and audit requirements.

Some of your duties will include but not limited to

  • Provide administrative support, ensuring operational paperwork and documentation are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with company procedures.
  • Process, record and maintain customer paperwork, stock records, operational reports, finance records and system updates.
  • Book vehicles in and out of the gatehouse upon arrival to and departure from the site, ensuring movements are accurately recorded in the relevant systems.
  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic filing systems to support audit requirements, ISO standards and effective document control.
  • Operate site systems, dashboards and administrative processes to ensure information remains current and accessible to the wider operation.
  • Order stationery, office supplies and other administrative resources are required to support the terminal.
  • Enter incoming stock onto stock systems promptly and accurately to support stock visibility, reconciliation and reporting.
  • Raise purchase orders and process relevant finance tasks in line with SAP and finance procedures.
  • Support month-end accruals and budget planning activities by maintaining accurate records and submitting information on time.
  • Log and submit all ad hoc billable activity and overtime to invoicing on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure current contract rates are applied to all operations and services.
