Looking for a secure, long-term plumbing role with steady hours, good pay, and no travelling between sites? Our Client is hiring an on-site Plumber to join a close-knit facilities team. You'll carry out hands-on planned and reactive maintenance in a safe, structured environment-supported by clear systems and proper planning.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across the prison site
- Complete general repairs and maintenance, including mains water supply repairs
- Diagnose faults and fix issues first time
- Attend inspections, carry out water sampling and basic risk assessments
- Identify and replace life-expired equipment
- Follow safe working procedures and site protocols in a secure environment

What you'll bring:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
- Experience in plumbing maintenance (commercial environment preferred)
- A full UK driving licence
- A safety-first approach and confidence working in a secure setting
- Pride in doing the job properly-supported, not rushed

Additional information:
- Permanent position, 39 hours per week
- Rota: 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:00-16:00 Friday-Sunday
- 1 in 3 weekends (paid) plus an additional 15% weekend allowance
- Legionella awareness is desirable (not essential)
- Career progression available (Team Leader / Site Manager) and ongoing, fully funded development
