Plumber
HMP Liverpool, Liverpool L9 3DF
£30,866 - £36,135 per year; 39 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- Mon-Thu: 07:45am - 4:45pm
- Fri-Sun: 07:45am - 3:45pm
- 1 in 4 weekends (15% salary uplift when on the weekend rota)

We're looking for a qualified Plumber to join our team at HMP Liverpool, helping maintain and improve a large, secure site that plays an important role in the justice system.
This is a stable, long-term role offering excellent benefits, career progression, and the opportunity to work within a supportive Facilities Management team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance
- Repairing and maintaining mains water systems
- Fault finding and repairs on plumbing assets
- Water hygiene inspections, sampling and risk assessments
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly

What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Experience in plumbing maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Legionella awareness (desirable)
- Experience operating light plant (desirable)
