Role Overview

We’re looking for an Onsite Coordinator to join our team in Derby (DE1 9TA).

Based at our customer’s site, this is a key role responsible for keeping track of inbound parts and ensuring the operation runs smoothly. You’ll use your excellent organisational skills to keep our tracking system accurate and updated in real time, and your strong communication skills to ensure both Yusen and customer stakeholders are fully informed throughout the day.

You’ll also play an important part in supporting our drivers — providing clear schedule information, coordinating their movements, and helping resolve any issues that arise to keep the operation flowing efficiently.

Our customer operates 24 hours a day, so you’ll need to be flexible and able to work within a rotational shift pattern. Shifts run Monday to Friday across three set start times:

  • 05:00–14:00
  • 13:00–23:00
  • 21:00–06:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily abnormalities raised by the production plant and logistics stakeholders, ensuring full adherence to procedures
  • Check completed manifest paperwork with 100% accuracy against planned parts collection data
  • Complete all customer reports accurately and on time, ensuring information is clear and reliable
  • Enter data into the system with precision, monitoring and updating records as required
  • Follow the customer’s escalation process promptly and in line with agreed timelines
  • Manage truck arrivals and departures to maintain smooth operational flow
  • Liaise with all LPs, logging delays and abnormalities into tracking system
  • Communicate with relevant departments regarding delays and freight abnormalities, ensuring issues are captured and escalated appropriately

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
