Job Title: Onboarding and Compliance Consultant

Location:

Remote / Hybrid, North West – available to visit our Manchester office 1 / 2 times per month

Duration:

12-month FTC

We are seeking a highly motivated Onboarding and Compliance Consultant to join our team on an initial 12-month FTC basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to advance their career in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Security Vetting: Own and manage the candidate security vetting process from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure the provision and maintenance of all necessary documents, including Limited and Umbrella company documents, client-specific documents, and any other required paperwork.
  • Compliance and Documentation Maintenance: Keep all documentation updated for quarterly audits, including right-to-work documents, insurance, and any other compliance-related paperwork.
  • Contract Processing: Handle all associated paperwork, including new contracts, extensions, amendments, terminations, and finishers. Coordinate and send out any client-specific documentation, ensuring accuracy through meticulous review and, where necessary, seeking verification.
  • Associate Boards Management: Maintain all associate data boards, ensuring that information is updated accurately and regularly.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate any issues to the Associate Manager for resolution, ensuring a high level of associate satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist the Associate Manager with regulatory compliance projects such as IR35 and AWR, ensuring that all processes adhere to legal requirements.
  • Reporting: Assist with the completion of month-end reporting, host a weekly extension/starters/finishers call and provide support for any ad hoc reporting requests from the business or clients.
  • Internal Communication: Liaising with internal colleagues daily with onboarding updates, passing over any finance related queries and supporting timesheet enquiries / requests.
  • External Communications: Regularly communicating with umbrella company contacts, client vetting teams and associates to ensure a seamless experience during onboarding and beyond.

  • Strong administration and coordination skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational abilities, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with deadlines.
  • Be able to clearly communicate notices, terminations payment issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A confident and approachable nature is a must for this role as it is heavily centred around communication and having strong people skills.
