The opportunity

As an Onboarding Consultant you will be responsible for ensuring all new Advisers, Principals and Firms have a seamless and high-quality joining experience following their appointment to the network.

This includes supporting them to develop into new ways of working, embedding Openwork's culture and best practice as well as being the sole point of contact and critical link between a new joiner and all areas of the Partnership.

Please note, this is a 12 month fixed-term contract and is field-based and therefore will require flexibility with travel occasionally.

  • Salary - Up to £55,000

Key accountabilities:

  • Be a trusted, skilled Openwork representative, proactively building strong relationships, with new Advisers, Principals and Firms, acting as the key point of contact from day one.
  • Ensure high standards of coordination with key internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding journey.
  • Provide coaching and development to new Advisers around their understanding and application of skills around on the sales process and sales skills to newly licensed Advisers.
  • Ensure all Advisers understand Openwork’s compliance and quality standards and that they work effectively with assurance, quality risk teams.
  • Regularly review and utilise management information, to monitor progress for all new Advisers and agree actions and support required from specialist teams to deliver required results.
  • Ensure effective and seamless handover on completion of Onboarding period.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience and product knowledge across mortgages, protection and wealth is key.
  • Experience within another Financial Services network is advantageous.
  • Ability to articulate Openwork's process confidently to guide and support advisers.
  • A background in adviser development/mentoring/coaching is desirable.
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work closely with internal departments.
