Description

Onboarding Co-ordinator

Hybrid - Leicester & Home working
Salary up to £27,222 DOE

As an Onboarding Co-ordinator, you’ll play an important role in making sure our new starters have a smooth, positive onboarding experience, while ensuring all the necessary checks are completed accurately and in line with our regulatory requirements.

You’ll work closely with candidates, our services, internal teams and external partners, keeping things moving and making sure nothing gets missed.

This is a full time hybrid role with the possibility of being in our Leicester office one day per week.

Location of the role:
Leicester People Team Office – 2 Barton Close, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1 SJ

Our office offers free parking and great transport links. This is a two storey, open plan office with the Priory occupying the first floor. The office is accessible and has a lift.

What you'll be doing

You’ll help make sure every new starter has a smooth onboarding experience, working closely with candidates, services and internal teams to keep everything moving.

You’ll manage and follow up on onboarding and compliance checks, including references, medicals, disclosure checks and employment history, while keeping our HR systems accurate and up to date.

It’s a fast-paced role, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable juggling priorities. You’ll take ownership of issues, use your initiative to find solutions and provide a great service to both candidates and our teams.

What you'll bring to the role

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have:

  • Previous experience in HR administration, onboarding or customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership
  • The ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • A good understanding of compliance, HR legislation and GDPR
  • A genuine focus on delivering great customer service

Experience of working in a fast-paced corporate HR or shared services environment, handling large volumes of work, or using iTrent would be an advantage.
