Job Title: Onboarding Coordinator - French Supply Chain

Location: Bridgwater

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: TBC

Salary: Competitive Salary + benefits

Role Details

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Onboarding Coordinator to support the People Lead with the mobilisation and onboarding of personnel from the French supply chain into Altrad’s nuclear operations.

The role will provide end-to-end coordination across the pre-employment and onboarding journey, acting as a key link between the People Lead, French supply chain partners, candidates, recruitment, onboarding, security and operational stakeholders.

You will help ensure that personnel are mobilised efficiently, compliantly and with a high-quality candidate experience, while maintaining accurate visibility of onboarding progress, risks, dependencies and readiness for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and mobilisation process for personnel supplied through the French supply chain, from offer acceptance through to day-one readiness.
  • Support the People Lead with workforce mobilisation activity, providing accurate progress updates, identifying risks and escalating issues that may impact deployment.
  • Act as a central point of coordination between French supply chain partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, timely actions and effective resolution of onboarding queries.
  • Coordinate the collection, review and tracking of required pre-employment documentation, onboarding information and compliance evidence.
  • Maintain accurate onboarding trackers, workforce data and management information, ensuring records are complete, current and suitable for reporting and assurance purposes.
  • Monitor onboarding milestones and dependencies, proactively chasing outstanding actions and highlighting individuals or cohorts at risk of missing mobilisation dates.
  • Support the coordination of security, site access, induction, training, medical, right-to-work and other mobilisation requirements, working with the relevant specialist teams.
  • Provide a professional and consistent candidate experience, recognising the additional support that may be required for personnel mobilising from France into a UK nuclear project environment.
  • Engage with recruitment, HR, payroll, security, training, operational teams and supply chain stakeholders to ensure a smooth handover into employment and deployment.
  • Support continuous improvement of onboarding processes, controls and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance and the experience of candidates and stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
