Good, we're building something big in the UK&I - and we're looking for a technically driven Onboarding & Pre-Sales Engineer to help deliver world-class telematics solutions for customers across the UK & Ireland.
Teltonika is a global leader in Internet of Things (IoT), with over 25 years of innovation, operations in 27+ countries, and more than 2,500 employees worldwide.
Following the launch of our UK operation in 2024, we're continuing to invest heavily in our Telematics business. This newly created role will play a key part in supporting our continued growth, working closely with customers, partners and our commercial team to deliver outstanding technical solutions from pre-sales through to deployment and long-term support.

In this role, you will:
- Lead the technical onboarding of new customers from initial setup through to successful go-live.
- Deliver customer training on Teltonika hardware, software platforms and reporting tools.
- Produce clear onboarding documentation, user guides, and configuration summaries tailored to the client.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the onboarding process.
- Design and recommend telematics solutions that meet customer operational and commercial requirements.
- Support Business Development Managers throughout the sales process by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities.
- Install, configure and commission Teltonika telematics devices across a range of vehicle types and customer environments.
- Carry out site surveys, hardware testing and quality assurance activities to ensure successful deployments.
- Manage and maintain a stock of field equipment, tools, and spare units across Teltonika product ranges.
- Provide remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware, connectivity and software issues.
- Assist customers with integrating Teltonika solutions into third-party platforms and fleet management systems.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to test new configurations, improve customer solutions and share technical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, installation records and support logs.
- Represent Teltonika professionally during customer visits, technical meetings and project delivery.

What we expect of you:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing technical support, field engineering, installation and pre-sales engineering role.
- Strong experience in solution design, with a proven track record of providing technical solution advice within a sales or pre-sales team.
- Strong hands-on experience installing and configuring hardware, including low-voltage vehicle wiring.
- Experience working with telematics, GPS tracking systems or similar vehicle technology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently both remotely and on-site.
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites throughout the UK&I.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- API Integrations
- Industrial Networking
- LTE / 4G / 5G Connectivity
- VPN, VLAN and Firewall Configuration
- Teltonika Telematics Products (FMB, FMC, TAT Series)
- Teltonika Networks Products (RUT, RUTX, TRB Series)
- Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System)
- CCNA, HNC/HND, City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification
