Position Summary

At Light & Wonder, we're bringing games to life with bold ideas, innovative technology, and passionate people. As an Onboarding Specialist in the People Solution Center, you'll play a pivotal role in creating exceptional first impressions for new employees joining our business across the EMEA region.

Working as part of our EMEA People Service Centre, you'll coordinate every stage of the onboarding journey, ensuring new team members feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success from day one. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Talent Acquisition, Payroll, People Partners, IT, Facilities, and Hiring Managers to deliver a seamless, compliant, and engaging onboarding experience that reflects our culture and values.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver a seamless end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires across multiple EMEA countries.
  • Coordinate pre-boarding and onboarding activities with Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, Payroll, IT, Facilities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare and process employment documentation in line with local legislation, company policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and ensure all pre-employment checks and requirements are completed before start dates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring high levels of data integrity.
  • Conduct new hire inductions and provide onboarding guidance to employees and managers.
  • Respond to onboarding-related queries within agreed service levels, providing a professional and customer-focused service.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes and the employee experience.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and governance requirements across the EMEA region.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience supporting HR administration, onboarding, employee lifecycle activities, or shared services operations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate employee data.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering a positive employee experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
  • Experience working with HR systems and employee records management; Workday experience would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of employment documentation, compliance requirements, and HR processes within a multi-country environment.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative global team.

Qualifications

  • L3 Certificate in People Practice or working towards
