Our client, a prominent wealth management advisor, seeks a junior-to-mid level onboarding officer for its European business.
18-month fixed-term contract. Start date ASAP. Salary around £50k + benefits package (including bonus, healthcare, life cover, pension, holidays etc.). Flexibility around working model - hybrid (London / St James) or fully remote.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 or 5 years' client onboarding (KYC) experience in a financial services environment.

- Meet or call clients at the post-report stage to clearly explain the Source of Wealth (SoW) document requirements for the recommended investment provider.
- Review client files, fully prepare and populate application forms, and assemble Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
- Challenge/Interrogate SoW/KYC information directly with the client to ensure accuracy and validity of information provided.
- Attend client sign-up meetings to present application forms and validate SoW/SoF evidence brought for certification.
- Submit completed applications to the Investment Provider.
- Regularly update clients throughout the provider’s onboarding process.
- Upon provider sign-off, provide clients with bank details for premium payments.
- Once funds are received and allocated, place deals online.
- Confirm to clients, issue a welcome letter, and provide access to the Client Portal.
- Ensure receipt of policy documents from the Investment Provider and deliver them to clients.
