Permanent - Full Time

We have an opportunity for an experienced Onboarding & Vetting Deputy Advisor to join us in the MEH Alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

This is a full time permanent position working onsite at Hinkley Point C and in the satellite office in Bridgwater.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the managing the Onboarding compliance Team and assisting in all line management tasks are undertaken.
  • Liaising with the MEH Resource Team to obtain suitable candidate details.
  • Liaising with the client and Parent Company Vetting Teams to ensure that all candidates are compliant with site requirements.
  • Liaising with the Delivery Partners in ensuring that the candidate has all required documentation in place for their project start.
  • Coordinating with the MEH Deployment teams to ensure that incoming workforce/resource are ready for their project start.
  • Ensuring onboarding is in line with the strict new start requirements.
  • Working with the Delivery Partners to ensure that the onsite requirements are met.
  • Identifying and Developing areas of improvements to eliminate stoppage in the Onboarding process.
  • Supporting other sections within the HR ops and Compliance teams.
  • Monitoring regular daily KPI's against the Delivery Partners progress.
  • Supporting that regular reports are provided to the Compliance Lead for Senior Review.
  • Regular feedback to the MEH Operational Resource Team on progress, highlighting any concerns regarding recruitment blockers (lack of required skills in market, reduced known resource against plan)

  • Strong IT skills, in particular, MS Excel as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar fast paced environment preferably within onboarding, vetting or compliance.
  • Previous experience supervising and leading other team members would be advantageous.
