Job Description
OneStream IT Specialist with Financial Services Domain Knowledge
This position combines IT expertise in the OneStream platform with deep knowledge of financial services processes to deliver, enhance, and operate enterprise finance solutions.
The candidate will act as a bridge between finance, IT, and business stakeholders, ensuring that financial consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics processes are optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of OneStream solutions from Finance IT side, ensuring best practices are followed by vendor team.
- Translate business needs into functional requirements technical design documentation, including requirements and RTM., user stories, process maps, solution designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Define solution structure, including system integrations, data flows, and financial reporting.
- Provide design input for customized workflows, calculations, and financial models.
- Support OneStream capabilities for financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, management reporting, and analytics.
- Oversee OneStream implementation, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Lead data migration and integration with ERP and financial systems.
- Serve as the primary Finance IT contact, providing expert guidance and support throughout the implementation.
- Provide training to user community on OneStream functionality and best practices.
- Mentor cross-functional teams, offering architectural guidance to ensure successful application development.
- Develop test plans/cases, coordinate UAT, and validate solutions meet business and control requirements.

- 8-10 years of relevant EPM solution implementation experience with 3+ years OneStream experience in building metadata, business rules, forms, designing cube views, workflow, performing data reconciliation, building custom rules and reports.
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, and scripting languages such as VB.net.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and other financial systems.
- Strong understanding of financial services processes, including consolidation, planning, forecasting, and compliance.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions and communicate clearly across functions.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with finance, IT, and business leaders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
