Position Descriptor

Bowden Brompton Community School (BBCS) Little Para Campus (Salisbury North), is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Middle Years (Years 6-9) with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practices.

We are looking for an exceptional educator to join our innovative and engaging team, where you will teach small groups of 1 to 10 students from diverse backgrounds.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to relational teaching and self-reflection, as well as strong teamwork with colleagues. Our strategic priorities include a focus on metacognition and self-regulation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching literacy, numeracy, aboriginal studies and life skills
  • Managing a pastoral care group
  • Liaising with various agencies
  • Communicating with families
  • Contributing to community-based outreach learning programs
