About the Role
This role will require three days a week in the office
Do you have a passion for AI and data, and enjoy finding smarter ways to analyse information and solve problems? We're looking for a bright graduate or junior data professional to join the digital team of a major global engineering business. This is an opportunity to take your interest in AI and data and apply it to real commercial problems, working with significant volumes of product information within an established Product Information Management (PIM) system.
You'll be joining an international digital team within a business employing around 10,000 people across more than 50 countries, with a strong culture of learning and development and plenty of scope to progress into a broader digital career.

Key Responsibilities
- Use Excel extensively to analyse and interrogate large volumes of product data, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities to improve its quality and structure.
- AI will also be an important part of the role, and we're particularly interested in someone who can demonstrate how they've already used it effectively for data analysis, whether that's identifying patterns and anomalies, enriching information, automating repetitive work or finding more efficient ways to analyse data.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Practical experience using AI for data analysis and problem solving
- The ability to explain how you've used AI and how you validated the results
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Genuine curiosity about data, AI and technology

Additional Skills
Python, SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, APIs or basic scripting would be useful but aren't essential. Previous PIM experience would also be useful, but isn't essential for someone with the right analytical ability and aptitude to learn.
Career Development
There's good scope to develop beyond PIM and product data over time, including exposure to digital search, websites and the wider digital customer experience.
