Online Operations Specialist
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Hours: 40 hpw
We’re on the lookout for Two x Online Operations Specialists to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maximise income generation through the sourcing, preparation, merchandising, sale and fulfilment of donated goods and IT assets across the charity's digital sales channels.
The Online Operations Specialist will take ownership of products throughout the online sales journey, identifying opportunities to maximise value, creating engaging online listings, providing excellent customer service and ensuring products are processed efficiently and professionally.
The role will support both the charity's online trading operation by helping to grow online income, strengthen customer satisfaction and maximise the value of donated goods and corporate asset donations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver excellent customer service, responding to enquiries and resolving issues, returns and complaints.
- Identify, assess and prepare donated products for online sale, including research, photography, listings and pricing.
- Process, test and prepare donated IT equipment for resale, including approved data sanitisation activities.
- Create and manage online marketplace listings, monitor performance and maintain accurate stock records.
- Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders, ensuring efficient fulfilment and handling returns where required.
- Contribute to sales targets, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of online trading operations.
- Support colleagues and volunteers to deliver excellent operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, data security requirements, and health and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience delivering excellent customer service within a retail, e-commerce, warehouse or stock-based environment.
- Experience using digital systems and online marketplaces, such as eBay.
- Experience working to targets and performance measures.
- Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage priorities, solve problems and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of customer needs.
Desirable:
- Experience of stock control, IT equipment handling, charity retail, volunteer support, and creating online product listings.
- Knowledge of online retail, merchandising, pricing, IT hardware, data security and information governance.

The role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
