Job Title: Online Product Administrator (eCommerce)

Location: Hull

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Online Product Administrator (eCommerce) to join an established and growing business. This is a varied role supporting the day to day running and development of the company’s online sales operation with training and opportunities for progression.

Working closely with internal teams and suppliers, you’ll help manage product listings, online orders, customer enquiries, stock and website content. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in eCommerce and online sales.

Responsibilities Of Online Product Administrator (eCommerce)

  • Create and update product listings via Shopify
  • Write accurate and engaging product descriptions
  • Maintain product information, pricing and visual content
  • Support online merchandising and promotions
  • Coordinate website orders, returns and exchanges
  • Liaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone and online chat
  • Monitor stock availability and assist with new product research
  • Support general website and online sales administration

Skills & Experience

  • Interest in eCommerce and online sales with a willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic experience with Canva, Photoshop or similar would be beneficial
  • Experience with Shopify, WordPress or another CMS would be advantageous
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks
