Ready to shape the future of international online growth at M&S?

As M&S accelerates its international transformation, we’re looking for an Online Project Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help expand our online presence across global markets.

All the details

Working in a high-performing, entrepreneurial team, this role will lead strategic growth initiatives across marketplaces and direct-to-consumer channels, taking opportunities from concept and business case through to launch and optimisation. Strong experience across D2C, eCommerce and marketplace environments is key, with the ability to improve customer journeys, support online trading performance, consider fulfilment and operational impacts, and use data-led insight to unlock sustainable international growth.

We are looking for someone with proven experience leading complex D2C, digital and marketplace projects from concept through to delivery. The successful candidate will understand how direct-to-consumer channels operate, from customer journeys and online trading through to fulfilment, performance and optimisation. They will be confident working cross-functionally, building strong relationships and navigating change to deliver successful outcomes. Commercial awareness will support their ability to shape opportunities and business cases, but the key focus will be applying D2C, marketplace and digital delivery expertise to unlock growth while delivering a great customer experience.

NB This is a full-time role based at our Paddington Support Office for a minimum of three days a week.

What You’ll Do

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Lead the identification and delivery of new international online growth opportunities, building a pipeline of strategic initiatives that support M&S’ long-term marketplace and direct-to-consumer ambitions
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex digital and commercial projects, taking opportunities from concept and business case development through to launch, optimisation and performance tracking
  • Identify, negotiate and secure new marketplace partnerships, developing compelling business cases and commercial agreements that unlock growth across key international markets
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance digital capabilities, improve operational efficiency and deliver a seamless customer experience across international online channels
  • Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver transformation initiatives, managing risks, influencing stakeholders and ensuring projects achieve their commercial, customer and operational objectives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
