The Difference you will make
As The Online Propositions & Growth Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial execution and day-to-day trading performance of makemeawinner.co.uk’s online competitions. This role focuses on prizes, propositions, pricing, and campaigns, ensuring the competition range and promotional activity are optimized to deliver revenue growth, efficient acquisition, and strong customer engagement.
Working within guardrails, growth goals, and agreed KPIs set by the Head of Online, the role plays a key part in translating strategy into commercial outcomes through hands-on management, optimization, and insight.
Your role
- Manage the online competition range, prize plan, and pricing within the agreed strategy.
- Optimize propositions to balance customer appeal, entry volumes, and margins.
- Test and refine pricing, prize structures, and mechanics.
- Work closely with Performance Marketing on campaign planning.
- Own day-to-day trading performance, monitoring daily and weekly KPIs.
- Flag risks and opportunities early, proposing practical actions to address them.
- Report commercial performance against agreed KPIs to the Head of Online.
- Use customer and performance data to understand what is driving results.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day running of competitions and campaigns.

The Skills you will bring
- Proven experience in a commercial, trading, or growth-focused digital role.
- Strong understanding of pricing, propositions, and performance marketing fundamentals.
- Experience owning and delivering against KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action.
- Background in online gaming, competitions, e-commerce, or subscription businesses is desirable.
Working Pattern/Location
This is a full-time role, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week. We also support a hybrid work model that balances working from home and our office in Manchester (Castle Quays). #LI-Hybrid #LI-RS1
