We are looking for an Online Teacher – Computer Science & Digital Technologies to help shape and deliver our growing digital education provision.

The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, rigorous and inclusive live online teaching while contributing to curriculum development, assessment and learner support.
Teaching opportunities may include secondary, GCSE, vocational and post-16 provision depending on qualifications, experience and subject expertise.
We are particularly interested in expertise across:
- Computer Science and programming
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
- Data and Data Science
- Cyber Security
- Networks and digital systems
- Computational thinking
- Digital citizenship
- Emerging technologies
- Digital ethics and responsible technology
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Computer Science would be particularly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Deliver high-quality live online lessons.
- Create challenging, inclusive and engaging learning experiences.
- Adapt teaching to learners' abilities, needs and prior knowledge.
- Develop schemes of learning, lesson plans and teaching resources.
- Design formative assessments and contribute to summative assessment where appropriate.
- Mark work and provide meaningful, timely feedback.
- Monitor learner progress and provide appropriate academic support.
- Contribute to examination preparation and mock assessments where applicable.
- Maintain accurate educational and assessment records.
- Support individual learning needs and reasonable adjustments.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
- Participate in quality assurance, moderation and standardisation.
- Contribute to enrichment activities, projects, clubs and competitions where appropriate.
- Maintain current professional and subject knowledge.

Digital & AI Education
RezOne has a distinctive approach to digital education. We want learners to develop technical capability alongside critical thinking and responsible judgement.
AI and digital tools may support teaching, assessment preparation and curriculum development, but professional educational judgement remains the responsibility of the teacher.
Teachers must critically evaluate AI-generated material for accuracy, appropriateness, bias and educational value before using it with learners.
We particularly value educators who encourage learners to ask not only:

Safeguarding & Online Safety

The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Follow safeguarding and child-protection procedures.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries online.
- Use approved systems and communication channels with learners.
- Follow requirements relating to online lessons, recordings and one-to-one interactions.
- Recognise and report safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Complete required safeguarding and online-safety training.
- Handle learner information securely and confidentially.
Appointments involving children, young people or regulated activity will be subject to appropriate safer-recruitment procedures. No individual will undertake regulated activity until applicable recruitment and safeguarding requirements have been completed.
Person Specification
Essential
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, Computing, Digital Technologies or a closely related field.
- A relevant degree, professional qualification or demonstrable equivalent expertise.
- Experience teaching, training, tutoring or facilitating learning.
- Understanding of effective teaching, assessment and feedback.
- Strong digital literacy.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to teach confidently in an online environment.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to adapt learning for different learners and needs.
- Excellent communication and organisation.
- Professional integrity, reliability and commitment to continuous improvement.

Desirable
We particularly welcome experience in one or more of the following:
- QTS, PGCE or recognised equivalent.
- British curriculum teaching.
- GCSE Computer Science.
- GCSE examination preparation.
- Post-16 or vocational education.
- Online teaching.
- Curriculum and assessment development.
- Python or other programming languages.
- Artificial Intelligence.
- Data Science.
- Cyber Security.
- Educational Technology.
- Project-based learning.
- Supporting neurodivergent learners.
- Working with gifted, talented or highly able learners.

Teaching hours and responsibilities will depend on programme requirements, learner enrolment, subject expertise and the contractual arrangement agreed with the successful candidate.
