Our Client

Our client is a premium eyewear retailer running two well-established online stores and are now in a period of significant growth.

Role Overview

You'll own trading, conversion and margin across both websites, working directly with the Commercial Director and the wider digital team. There are no direct reports yet but there's a clear path to build and lead a team as the business expands internationally.

What You'll Be Doing

Own Trading & Campaigns

  • Own the key trading KPIs across both sites: sales, margin, conversion rate, AOV, items per basket
  • Build and deliver the seasonal trading plan with the Commercial Director
  • Monitor site performance daily, spotting trends and acting on them
  • Manage stock availability with buying/product so activity lands in the right areas
  • Support landing page optimisation and campaign briefing so traffic converts once it lands

Lead CRO & the Prescription Journey

  • Own the CRO and customer journey testing roadmap across both sites
  • Run a structured testing programme on the prescription journey specifically: upload, verification, checkout friction
  • Define and report on prescription journey metrics (drop-off points, upload completion, verification friction) alongside standard CRO metrics
  • Partner with UX/CRO agencies, designers and developers to prioritise and ship tests
  • Own on-site merchandising: sorting rules, search and navigation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
