What does an Online Visual Merchandiser do?

The Online Visual Merchandiser is responsible for optimizing the online shopping experience by managing the presentation and arrangement of products on the company’s global e-commerce platforms. This role combines creativity with data-driven strategies to enhance product discoverability, drive conversions, and support overall brand consistency across digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Support the E-Commerce Manager in delivering content strategies, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities across Silmid.com and GracoRoberts.com.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure product information, content, and merchandising are optimized across both websites.
  • Develop and maintain product bundles, cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and on-site promotional content to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Manage and maintain on-site adverts.
  • Manage category structures, sort orders, search merchandising, and product visibility to enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and maintain value-added content and digital assets that support conversion, engagement, and brand consistency.
  • Apply SEO best practices and leverage website analytics to identify opportunities for traffic growth and performance improvements.
  • Using Data to drive activity and form suggestions for improvements across our websites.
  • Manage digital assets, including product images, banners, and other visual content, ensuring they meet quality and brand standards.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years’ experience working with Ecommerce websites
  • Experience working with Google Analytics
  • Demonstratable skills in Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator or other graphic editing software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Good team player and enthusiastic
  • Punctual and professional
