The Team You'll Join
Our MoneyWeek team in London produces one of the UK's most respected personal finance and investment websites. We help private investors and everyday readers navigate shares, bonds, funds, property, pensions, and savings products. Based in our London office on a hybrid basis, we translate complex financial topics into clear, accessible guidance. You'll join an expert, collaborative editorial group dedicated to helping our audience make better-informed choices with their money.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Digital Editor-in-Chief for MoneyWeek in London, you'll write engaging financial news, explainers, and evergreen guidance. You'll help generate article ideas, update existing content, and curate our daily email newsletter. In this role, you'll break down complex personal finance topics into plain English so our readers can take practical action.

On a daily basis, you'll research investment trends, draft SEO-optimised articles, and publish content through our digital CMS. You'll analyse topic performance metrics, create interactive calculator guides, and collaborate with Future's central audience team. Additionally, you'll help build digital newsletter campaigns and ensure our financial advice remains accurate and timely.
- Write and publish high-quality personal finance news, evergreen guides, and market analysis.
- Generate fresh content ideas and update existing articles to maintain SEO performance and accuracy.
- Curate and set up daily MoneyWeek email newsletters for our subscriber base.
- Analyse personal finance products, savings deals, and pension offerings to provide clear reader recommendations.
- Collaborate with audience and SEO teams to address key search queries around investing and personal finance.
- Manage digital administration tasks, including CMS publishing and user experience optimisation.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrable interest in and understanding of personal finance, pensions, property, and investing.
- Proven writing skills with an ability to simplify complex financial topics into clear, plain English.
- Familiarity with digital publishing tools, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and digital content optimisation.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to produce timely, accurate articles.
- Collaborative mindset with an interest in developing your voice as a financial journalist.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience writing or editing personal finance, investment, or commercial content.
- Demonstrable understanding of UK personal finance, savings, or investment products.
- Experience using content management systems and digital publishing tools.
- Ability to work from our London office on a hybrid basis.

The expected range for this role is £30,000 - £37,500
This is a hybrid role, working 2 days per week from our London Office
