EXPERIENCE:
- At least five (5) years experience in production telecommunications systems including fibre, radio links, IP Telephony, Radio systems (UHF and VHF), Access Control Systems, PAGA systems, CCTV systems, Rig / Flotel / Vessel Mobilisation and demobilisations.
- At least five (5) years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience in management of sub-contractors.
- Good knowledge of Management of Change process for offshore telecoms modifications with multi-disiplinary aspect (Electrical, instruments etc).
- Demonstrate Personal Commitment To The COMPANY HSE Policy.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
- Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
- Good knowledge of offshore UK standards, regulations and practices pertaining to Telecommunications systems.
- Good knowledge of most typical offshore / onshore Telecom/IT equipment, including but not limited to:
- VHF & UHF Radio
- Inmarsat
- LOS
- Fibre Optic
- PAGA
- CCTV
- Entertainment/AV, etc.
- Planning Planned Maintenance Routines for offshore installations.
- Familiar with requirements for carrying out repairs/inspections on Ex certified equipment.
- Familiar with Maximo or SAP
